On September 22, 2008, in a ceremony at the Nonprofit Leadership Summit, Governor John Lynch presented NAMI NH with The Corporate Fund’s Walter J. Dunfey Nonprofit Management Award. The award was created to recognize outstanding management skill and talent within the nonprofit sector, and named for Walter J. Dunfey, noted businessman, philanthropist and co-founder of The Corporate Fund.
Each year, up to two nonprofits are recognized based upon written submissions and interviews. NAMI NH’s organizational management was evaluated based on:
• Program Delivery and Impact
• Mission, Vision and Strategy
• Governance and Leadership
• Strategic Relationships
• Resource Development
• Internal Operations and Management
We are proud to be a recipient of this prestigious award. The hard work of board, volunteers and staff have made NAMI NH the organization that it is today. We also congratulate NH Legal Assistance, who also was a recipient of The Corporate Fund Award.
