How to Register
Registering online is fast and easy! Click on this logo
and follow the instructions below to register today!
Step 1: Create a myNAMI Account – A myNAMI account simply allows you to create a username and password for future access to update or modify your web page. You must create a myNAMI account to access the online tools to create a Team and/or Walker web page. You do NOT have to join NAMI or make a donation to create a myNAMI account.
- Click on one of the links in the WALK WITH US box in the lower right-hand corner.
- Click the “register online now” button and then “Click here to create your sign-in account.”
- Complete the user profile form, check the box at the bottom of the page and click the “Submit” button to finish.
- Be sure to write down your username and password.
- A confirmation page will display – click on the link to create your web page.
Step 2: Register for the NAMIWalk
Form/Join a Walk Team
- Follow the on-screen instructions, then click “Register and Proceed.”
- Fill in the form to create your Team web page and click “Create Team Page and Continue.”
- Fill in the form to create your Walker web page and click “Create Walker Page and Continue.”
- Print the confirmation page that shows your Team and Walker page web addresses.
Walk as an Individual
- Follow the on-screen instructions, then click “Register and Proceed.”
- Fill in the form to create your Walker web page and click “Create Walker Page and Continue.”
- Print the confirmation page that shows your Team and Walker page web addresses.
Online Tools for WALK Participants
Tools for All Walkers:
- Register as a Walker online.
- Create a personal Walker web page that tracks your fundraising progress. Personalize it with your photo, bio and fundraising goal. Once created, you will have a customized web address to send to your family, friends and others in the community so they can make a secure credit card donation to you online.
- Access a customized fundraising letter with the details of your Walk and your web page link automatically filled in.
- Receive email notification each time an online donation is made through your web page.
- Access a detailed report of all online donations you receive.
Tools for Team Captains:
- Create a Team web page that displays your Team roster, tracks your Team’s fundraising progress and enables Walkers to join your Team online.
- Personalize your Team web page with a photo and motivational message to your Team members. Once created, you will have a customized web address to send to potential Walkers so they can join your Team online.
- Receive email notification each time a new Walker joins your Team online.
- Add members to your Team who have not yet registered online.
- Use the special online features to send group emails to all of your Team members.
- Learn more about your Team members through their Walker web pages.
