Joe Pantoliano Joins NAMI NH for an Exclusive Screening of the film Canvas!

NAMI NH will present an exclusive screening of the film Canvas on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Red River Theater. Joe Pantoliano and Marcia Gay Harden star in this touching and inspiring film about the impact of one woman's mental illness on her family. Special guest speaker, Joe Pantoliano will address the audience immediately following the film screening about his own struggle with mental illness.

NAMI New Hampshire (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of persons of all ages with mental illness/SED (Serious Emotional Disorders) and their families so they may have the opportunity to recover from mental illness, achieve their aspirations and live, work and play in the community of their choice.

NAMI NH provides support to families and the public at large through its family support groups and educational programs, information and referral services and public presentations. NAMI NH fights stigma and advocates for the rights of those affected by mental illness/SED through its legislative efforts and education of its membership and the general public.
