The NH Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects
The NH Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects is a committee supported by NH state law RSA 171-A:19-a. The committee functions for the purpose of reviewing and ascertaining the acceptability of proposed research conducted in department funded programs that serve people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse or dependance disorders. It is a committee dedicated to safeguarding study participants during the entire process of participating research.
The committee is a community resource to those who are thinking about being in a research study, are in a research study, or have questions or concerns regarding a research study.
