NAMI NH Support Groups for Families
NAMI NH has a network of support groups throughout the state. The facilitators are trained family members who understand the challenge and opportunities facing families who receive services in the mental health system. We offer two different types of groups:
FAMILY MEMBERS SUPPORT GROUP - for family members who have an adult loved one with mental illness
PARENTS MEETING THE CHALLENGE - for parents/caregivers of children/adolescents with severe emotional disorders
NAMI NH SUPPORT GROUPS . . .
- Come and meet others who understand the challenges and opportunities!
- Leadership by a trained facilitator who is a family member!
- Members sharing successes and challenges!
- Free educational programs based on interests of the group!
- Advocacy opportunities to address needed changes in the mental health system.
